Complaint Received!
A complaint was received here at Grepus Central, from a disgruntled reader, because I didn't accredit her for having introduced me to Jack Johnson's music. So, on that note, here are a few remarks Re: who introduced me to different parts of my music taste:
Dad, thank you for lending me your guitar, and buying me new strings when I was younger, and for your persistance in not keeping up with the times and sticking with 60s and 70s music, it influenced me greatly. You kept me listening to great music all through my childhood... cheers mate!
Big Dave Gibbons, cheers for that copy of Jonny Lang's CD... one of the best albums I have heard in years. (RIAA, if you are reading, I then went out and purchased an original copy, and destroyed the pirate) [yeah right]
Rob, for getting me into some of the more recent punk, including Less than Jake and Bowling for Soup.
Chris "fat bastard" Bennett, cheers for the offspring CD you got me that year for my birthday, been listening to them ever since!! Even been to see them a couple of times, thanks mate.
Jenson, for introducing me to metallica all those years ago. My fave band on the planet, thank you bro.
The rest, I think I kinda just came across them here and there. Oooh, Lennon's pub in Southampton, first place I heard System of a Down, cheers guys, many a great night had in there!!!
I think that's it... ohh no, Shiv, thank you for letting me listen to your Jack Johnson CD babe... hope this makes up for me "claiming it as my own music taste and not yours"

Not at all... "credit given where credit's due" is what you said, so there, credit duly given! To everyone... I hope I dont have to do one of these posts every time I forget that someone introduced me to something... I suppose I should thank Dad for introducing me to rugby, hmmm :P
